Finding Non-Profit Funding Sources

Raising capital for a non-profit may require alternative funding methods. If traditional banking processes fail to meet the needs of the non-profit, additional avenues may still yield adequate capital. The easiest and most common method of raising money involves requesting charitable donations. Local businesses and members of the organization typically donate cash or other goods and services. Fund-raising activities may also produce successful results when properly marketed to the local community. The involvement of angel investors, while less common, is usually significantly more substantial. Angel investors are private individuals or groups that provide large sums of capital in exchange for future earnings or other rewards. More info: non profit funding sources
