Court Reporting

Court reporting is the process of recording every single word uttered in court proceedings. Any trial before a judge has a court reporter recording in the court room. Court reporters are required to receive an advanced education in the proper procedures to become a court reporter. Most higher education programs for a court reporter last between one and two years.The job outlook for this profession is very good due to the never ending need of having trials and court proceedings recorded. A court reporter will be required to transcribe the material and provide it to the court in a very timely fashion after the proceedings are in the court are completed.
